Cakes for Competition 2010
Youth Transitions will take two (2) Culinary Cooking teams to Atlanta, Georgia in March 2011 to compete in the Prostart Culinary Arts Competition. We are the reigning Champion for Tennessee in this competition.
Although we are the only special education team at the Prostart Competition, we expect both teams to represent Tennessee well. Funds from the sale of Holiday Desserts will be used to defray the training and travel costs for this educational activity.
Youth Transitions is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to training and employing individuals with disabilites for employment in the foodservice industry. Students are prepard to work independently and productively in all areas of the foodservce indutry.
November 19, 2010 is the last day to place your order. Orders will be available for pickup at the Mid-day Cafe in the Cokesbury Center or the Station Cafe at the KAT Transit Center on November 22, 23, or 24.
